The Broke Gallery is a product by UforChange alumni Keisha James. The Broke Gallery is a project funded by Art Starts through a Platform A grant in order to engage local communities through art — the purpose of this gallery is to showcase emerging artists 16-35 years of age across the city of Toronto, for one night in May. The overall theme for this gallery is the idea of what it means to be a “broke” artist, or “broke but not BROKEN” by someone or something in life. Feel like you have artwork that relates to and expresses this concept?
This gallery is FREE to submit and attend — so don’t delay, space is limited! From February 5 – March 5 we will be having an open call for submissions for the following categories: Film, Fashion, Photography and Music (performance).
