06 Jun Sound Design for DJS
In partnership with Soulpepper Theatre, Sound Designer/Composer Miquelon Rodriguez (aka DJ Tronix), will guide participants through the skills and mindsets that transfer from the hours upon hours of practice behind the turntables, conceptualizing and building of audible worlds from scripts. This workshop will serve as a quick foundation course for these common sound design tools and how to use DJ-ing thought processes to serve a theatrical production through sound design.
The workshop will take place on July 24th from 6:00pm-7:30pm, and will be followed by a performance by the 27 Club from 8:00pm to 10:00pm at the Young Centre of the Performing Arts. This opportunity is open to UforChange students and alumni.
