UforChange is seeking an experienced Film Artist Mentor! If you love teaching and mentoring a diverse group of young people between the ages of 16-29 from all over Toronto, then this job is for you!
The incumbent will be responsible for teaching once a week, for 8 months, all the creative aspects of cinematography. The incumbent will design the syllabus, focusing on current cinematography trends, DSLR camera use, field trips, network of artist professionals to invite as guest speakers, video editing, screenwriting, mobile filming and editing for social media and professional development in the field. You will be responsible for ensuring that youth attend class on-time, are engaged and acquire new skills by the end of the program.
