5 UforChange alumni youth, 4 Judges, 1 Challenge.
In celebration of the UforChange ANNKM Fashion Program – UforChange in collaboration with Ann Kaplan Mulholland hosted the Top Notch Challenge in November 2021 – released in April 2022. The skillful and creative UforChange alumni youth presented their spectacular works of craftsmanship in an environmentally sustainable fashion. The challenge has four winners, each receiving a life-changing mentorship from one of the top-notch, industry-expert judges.
Our unique fundraising event, FASHION RUNS DEEP, was hosted in June 2021 to raise funds for programming. Fashion Runs Deep is will ensure our graduates get the showcase they deserve and impart wisdom about the creative industries they soon may enter. Our keynote speaker Fashion Executive Isabella Baboury, along with 4 elite artists in the fashion and the arts – join us for an evening with students, mentors and well-established creative professionals, while raising funds for UforChange.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, five of the country’s most brilliant and innovative minds came together in support of one of Canada’s most creative charities, UforChange, for our second annual “The Talk” – a live panel discussion with producer and director Barry Avrich, award-winning writer and editor Sabrina Maddeaux, celebrity fashion designer Christopher Paunil, and CBC broadcaster and writer Amanda Parris, moderated by philanthropist and Mantella Corporation’s Chief Marketing Officer Sylvia Mantella, and hosted by Nicole Servinis of Breakfast Television.
On Wednesday, November 21, 2018, five of the country’s most brilliant and innovative minds came together in support of UforChange with “The Talk” – a live panel discussion with producer/director and advertising executive Barry Avrich, ELLE Canada Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Craft, fashion designer Mikhael Kale, and technology entrepreneur G. Scott Paterson; moderated by philanthropist and Mantella Corporation’s Chief Marketing Officer Sylvia Mantella and emceed by Dani Kagan of Stratus Events.
